Deep, wooden cherry notes flourish both before and after the first taste. The flavor is sophisticated, yet simple. Nothing of note to end, but nothing negative to say about the beginning and middle. A very solid experience.

Plenty of sweet fruit from the start, blackberries and some blackcurrant with vanilla, oak and faint mint. A little drier on the finish than the first taste would suggest but another good Wiens red. 13.6% and 2015 vintage.
