Nose certainly lacks fruit, and just expresses light grass and bell pepper notes. Palate makes up for the lack of fruit, and the expected melons & citrus is there. The amount of spice on the palate gives evidence it has spent partial fermentation in oak. This does fall short of expectations but is still enjoyable with light hors d'oeuvres.
