Jul 3rd, 2023Definitely worth trying, some tannins at the start that opened up after a little exposure; notes of blackberry with some earthiness and a slight oakiness at the end.

May 23rd, 2016There is a particular rose petal aroma that I get from Virginia petit verdots and this wine has it. The nose is intense with smoke, earth, plum, bramble, nutmeg, sweet tobacco, and a bit of leafiness. Palate is just a bit rustic in texture but has fruit and acidity shining through in a beautiful balance. The only down note is that the finish is a bit short. Still a really nice wine.
