Like drinking a warm hearth on a cold winter’s day, this rye whiskey is cozy and savory yet also incredibly expressive - borderline explosive - with exuberant notes of mulled spices, cedar shavings, hard apple cider, and cocoa nibs that leap out of the glass and envelope the palate. Not a huge rye whiskey fan but after sampling this while on vacation last week a snagged a bottle. Great addition to the collection!

100% Rye. Smooth, sweet (molasses) with a medium complex spice on the finish. Fairly balanced. At first it seems light for a whiskey but after a few sips the complexity on the finish builds greatly.
