Probably the best Blaufränkisch I‘ve ever had!
Very deep & dense dark red, heavy viscosity.
Lots of purple fruit, a basket full of spices (black pepper, cinnamon, vanilla, herbal notes) and earthy notes (wet loamy soil).
High but smooth tannins, mouthwatering minerality, fine acidity, well integrated alcohol. Relatively dominant oak - needs much more time to integrate. Potential for two decades at least, with optimal drinking window starting at ~2020.
