Weingut Robert Weil
Kiedricher Gräfenberg Erstes Gewächs Trocken Riesling
Pale to mid Lemon in colour - some petillance on side of glass. Lovely white floral notes with a touch of jasmine. Palate is intense and quite expansive for a dry Riesling (13.5% ABV). I haven’t had many wines from Robert Weil but it has the quality you expect for the price. On the palate some stone fruit with plenty of mineral and a generosity of flavour. Much more fleshy and aromatic than you get with top quality Australian Rieslings. Possibly at its peak.

Sep 5th, 2019Great Riesling! Very clean, balanced and fresh, with grapefruit, apple, lemon, honeyed peach, ethereal and intense mineral notes on the nose and palate, paired with high acidity and incredible length. 91
