Jun 15th, 2024Clean nose, unreal flowers and grassiness. Mineral, wild flowers, herbs, mineral, fantastic density and richness, elegant and nimble, closed a bit right now. Smells so airy and wonderful. But needs maybe 2-3 hours.

I love this estate. Grassy nose of wild flowers, green apple, some minerals but a bit muted and quiet. It will come around. But the palate is where the party is at. Great acidity that is perfectly interwoven with the gorgeous grassy and wild flower infused fruit and finishes with extraordinary spice. Really awesome texture and ballerina like balance. This is terrific but needs a few hours. I will be back. As the airs the fruit starts to develop on the back end.

Holy smokes. I can’t believe this is le petit. It’s a beautiful, ripe, nuanced SB, with volume, texture and a style somewhere between Loire and Bordeaux blanc, but with an alpine twist. Tremendous, unique complexity, and a totally Cap’n Crunch nose. Also white grape, kumquat, kiwiberry, coconut, pineapple, light caramel, oak, brine, green tea, smoke and green olive. But most of all, wildly floral in a way only the best SB are. Great texture, subtle sweetness. Minerals and acid that lend this an electric buzz. This is a really good wine. Can’t stop drinking it.

Nov 18th, 2022Stunning nose of alpine scents. Flowers, grass, herbs, some rich apples and so much more. Smells super Swiss. Wow palate is so explosive, fresh and intense. So sappy and pure. Amazing finish of those alpine scents one finds on the nose. Really unique and delicious. One of the most unique and delicious wines I’ve ever had. Awesome purity and what acids!!

Nose is floral with integrated richness. Expansive. As this opens you get the godspice. So penetrating and expansive. Elegantly rich. Mountain air infused with Chardonnay. Ocean air. Bit in a good way. Like you are watching the sunset on a cliff with a light breeze.
Palate is lovely rich fruit. Delicious. Good minerality. Almost a mountain meursault feel. Terrific crunchy acids as this opens. Oyster shells
Still a hint of oak. Should dissipate in 6-12 months.
Man this is a beautiful wine. It’s its own thang. Nothing exactly like it. Could be a higher score in 2 years.
