Hallburg Spätburgunder

Gorgeous wine and over a year since I have had it. Nose is mesmerizing. Sour cherry, cranberry bog, canned cranberry sauce, sweet mid season cherries and stunning deep earth. Licorice and a hint of strawberry jam. So brilliant. 9.6. The clarity of the fruit is just amazing. Such purity and balance and that hint of rusticity that is a trademark of the Hallburg site. The fruit is so clear, and echoing. This is so good. The elegance and finesse are top notch. Terrific structure and grip and killer fruit presence on the finish. Genius.

Gorgeous nose, berry fruit, light cherries, elegant and ephemeral. so so floral and so high toned. So elegant and juicy and sappy and pure. Wonderful freshness and also a seductive quality but remains light. Super loamy and mineral nose. So elegant and juicy with wonderful purity and density but light as a feather. Lithe like a ballerina. Wow the aromas. 12.5%. Lovely inner mouth aromas. Unreal sweetness. Richard was first guy to focus entirely on wine in his family and not other agriculture products.
