My last Rebenhof bottle. I don’t think I’ve had aged Sauvignon Blanc before (2 years in 500L Austrian oak)((@Delectable Wine this isn’t Riesling 🙂!)) Smooth, lager-colored, and nutty. Great for mid-Autumn. I had it with my go-to spaghetti alle vongole, and the pairing wasn’t bad, but not excellent. I’m afraid I prefer more youthful SB with zing. The Rebenhof Klassik is my top choice of the 3 bottles I tried.
