Pfalz Dry Pinot Blanc

Holy cow is this minerally! The fruit didn’t come out to play until the second day. By then there was a load of crisp, straw-inflected barely-ripe pear and apple fruit to cover the intense stoniness. Bone dry and very intense for a Pinot Blanc. Great value. No hurry to drink.

Bold, and intense acid but after 2 days in the fridge, the fruit finds its way through, stone fruit and pear, under the lime citrus start and will age well.

Great expression of Pinot Blanc. Nice round profile with crumbly mineral texture and fantastic fruit notes. White peaches, key limes, orchard blossoms, peach skin. Killed with food at the table.
