Ah, Schiava. How I want a grower to plant you in the Willamette Valley so I can vinify you! Strawberries, tobacco, cherry, much rounder than you'd expect from its almost rosé-like color. Fascinating cool-climate red. Move over Pinot Noir.

Sciaba os new to me. Bright transparent red, almost deep rose in color. Earthy nose, ripe but not overly fruity. Seems low in acid w/ light tannins.
