St. Urbans-Hof Bockstein Auslese Riesling

After only ten years, this one had lost some of its zing; it was a little earthy, but still full of acidity. Paired it with cherry almond cheesecake, and it didn’t have the upfront burst of sweetness to stand up properly.

Delicious! Fruit forward and easy drinking but a high enough acidity to not be “sweet.” It remind me of a honeycrisp apple.
