What’s a Monday without Delectable eating a tasting note? This is by far the best bottling of this wine I have ever had. Nose of sour cherry, confectionary cherry cotton candy, spice, flowers and mineral. So subtle yet so detailed. Just stunning. Was tight this last summer but this wine has blossomed. Floral as well: This is so so pretty. Palate is gorgeous. Unreal fruit that is subtle as it is elegant. Crunchy and velvety. Sapid and pure. Unreal inner mouth aroma and a controlled density. This is brilliant but not for everybody as it’s not in your face and traffics in subtlety. With an hour of air the fruit is crazy. So dense yet light. Ripe and so elegant. Really stunning.

May 12th, 2025Blend of all the little vineyards. gorgeous finesse, super aroma, excellent early season cherry, herbal, berry fruit, spices, florals, focused, clear. juicy and so engaging, red berry fruit, herbal and so elegant and nimble. very focused. neutral oak, small barrels and not new. Great tannins.

Nice but not overly remarkable in my view, even with some air and chill. To me the fruit is quite veiled behind a lot of earth. Acid a bit less than I was hoping too. Wouldn’t buy again.
