Wehlener Sonnenuhr Spätlese Riesling

Lots of sulphur at first, which I heartily approve of! After that it started opening up to show all sorts of dense stone fruit, apricot, dragon fruit, and honey. Good but still very immature - could do with another few decades...

Love the racy edge to the '07s! Showing some development (honey, wax) and a lot of class.

Intriguing nose of white/pink flowers and a mechanic's greasy wrench. Wild fruit bomb finish. Immediate pleasure. The most rambunctious of them all.

This was excellent. I could drink this ALLLLL day long. Honey and pineapple and mango and peach and YUMMMMM. Crisp crisp crisp!!!

Ehhh...not that great. Very cloying and simple.

A little too sweet

Ripe but balanced with good acidity. Drinks really well right now.

Clean, ripe, tropical.

Tasty, if a little sweet - it's gotta be cold !
