'Warp speed' acidity with a layered palate of ripe, tropical and orchard fruit. Finish is crisp and long with great weight.

A little Max Ferd Richter 2011 Mosel Kabinett Riesling. Beautiful stone fruit of dried apricot, peach, honey, with great acidity to balance it. A touch of sweetness but still fairly dry. A great German wine.

Petrol and lemon zest along with some pineapple notes on the nose. The palate is tangy because of a very strong acid backbone and a sweet pineapple and lemony note. There is massive grip and the palate goes on for ever, finishing on a very tangy note that's extremely salivating, note unlike these tangy sweets that kids eat out of a dare. A bit unbalanced when compared to the previous off-dry German Riesling I had. Could it be better with food?

Lemon, honey, a touch of petrol. Fairly high acidity, which is bracing at first but softened as the wine warmed up. Great balance.
