Had it in January 2009.
Shiny gold. Delicious and complex. Cooked apples, brass, turmeric, white truffle, oregano, squids, petrol, candied pineapple, graphite, gunpowder. Obviously not all at once, but during a little while. All decorated by a ripe minerality (??) and a super long finish. Good freshness. I went back to buy all they had at the shop.
With Gruner Veltliner Rotes Tor Smaragd 1998 Hirtzberger the two wines that made go crazy for Wachau white wines
