Not too much on the nose. nice structure, dark cherries, spice, strawberries. Soft tannins with pretty low acidity and a pretty long finish. Besides sampling wines from a few different producers at La Bergerie in Fredericksburg, my first true experience with an Austrian red. If I didn’t know it, I would have guessed I was drinking a Cali Pinot. Very tasty and approachable
