2014 vintage. The nose presents hints of peach, apricot, and floral notes: could be Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Grüner Veltiner, or even Vidal Blanc. Juicy and mineralic on the palate with crisp acid pushes me to Grüner. Some spice in the finish. Nice effort.

A little bit of chalk and some citrusy notes (grapefruit, yuzu) along with some pineapple touches. It's very inviting. The palate is well designed with a huge acid backbone, that chalky note which pretty much defines the mouthfeel, a good width with those citrusy notes all along. Very fresh finish with these citrusy notes and that lingering bitter touch in the end. It's very good

Ten generations of specialty in Grüner Veltliner in a glass, finally exported to the US after 300 years. Citric and somewhat cheesy complexity on the palate, disappearing without any heaviness or richness after a long, satisfying finish. Refreshing and drinkable.
