Beautiful exotic Riesling. Honeyed apricot, petrol and herbaceous. Perhaps a bit too oxidezed but showing great complexity and a delight to drink despite that. Very late harvest yet vinified to completely dry. Super complex and enjoyable. 2008

Time has been kind to this wine...
Okay, this doesn’t feel like your ‘typical’ dry Mosel Riesling....., more like an Alsatian or Austrian take on the variety.
It’s rich, intense and on the sweeter side, yet perfectly in balance.
Savour now, don’t hold back!

Ultra ripe, and lush. Pineapple, cotton candy, honey and roasted nuts. Big wine. Goes on and on. Bought this one with J at the estate in 2010. Sweet memories. What a treat.

Considerable amount of RS, 14% ABV, this behaves like a very ripe and lush (feinherb) Auslese. Impressive, maybe even overwhelming. But lacking balance and sophistication to be really outstanding.
