This Blaufränkisch is just what was needed on a cool brisk evening, first fireplace fire of the season. It’s light bodied, cool, even at room temperature, with a little earth and a lot of baking spice. A touch of plum and some red apple. It’s only downside is that it doesn’t linger long, which just means you have to drink more. Luckily, it’s only 12.5%.
This is a freshly homemade pie that deserves seconds and thirds.

Really nice. Has a similar woodiness of a pineau daunis. A little bit jammyer tho. Like it!
