Weingut Bernhard Huber
Malterdinger Trocken Spätburgunder
Spicy and earthy. Again, more savoury than fruit driven. Have not had a lot of experience with German Spatburgunders. This had Medium minus palate intensity with low tannins and low acid. For short term drinking. Not bad - nothing to write home about.

Mar 10th, 2019Surprisingly fresh & light for Huber. Fresh earthy dark fruit with hint of mushroom & broth. Light yet not ethaeric, still retaining some down to earth presence.
On the palate really fine, with finely grained polished tannins and great freshness.
This evolved really nicely, reminds me more of Salwey GG. Brilliant wine!
