Blaufränkisch

Sour cherry and chambord, with a twiggy backbone. Very Austrian, very blaufrankishy!

Lovely high acidity red. Hibiscus, plum, real minerality even with clear red fruit. Extremely light on the tongue, nothing weighs this down.

staying in that austria lane! cherry, redcurrant, and iron. acidic and good with a chill.

leather, wood, iron layered over blackberry and pomegranate. dry and herbal with a fruit fwd peppery zing on the finish. mid bodied, a lil grippy. not great, not bad. note: i like this better w a lil chill, but it’s still too bloody for my taste.

Pretty dark fruit, a bit too thick and slightly acidic. Interesting though. $16.99

Lots of red fruit, high acid, bit f an iron-y tang which is not unpleasant. Hoped for a little bit more depth but still really good.

Terrific with roast pork

Solid example of this great high acid red. Has plenty of bright fruit & rich berry notes with a solid spicy finish. Real good.
