Dhron Hofberg Trocken Riesling
Very nice and somewhat confusing wine, very tropical and especially it tastes a little like young dry Sauternes. But what a treat!

Jun 23rd, 2024Mmmmmm…Grilled peaches with thick black strapped grate marks. Smoke and char, honey and blood orange and little pricks of jasmine.
Tastes like sour apricot marmalade and bitter grapefruit pith in a perfectly medium body.

Yellow gold appearance ... would think it’s a Sauternes by appearance... peach and pineapple aromas with electric acidity carrying through on a core of stone fruit and minerality - 2012 vintage - the fruit has receded since drinking my last 2012 3 years ago... more my speed and interestingly nice balance to a rack of spare ribs!
