Dark cherry, candied strawberries, spice and smoke on the nose. The dark cherry and strawberry persist through the palate with a gamey meat component. Would be perfect with venison. Great structure and medium weight tannins with a long finish. Can't wait to revisit this one in 8-10 years.

This German Pinot Noir is like a Burgundy, but much better than most at least in the price range I know. A little bit of citrus and allspice. Good bottle age. Great on its own or with a wide variety of foods -- I had it with pasta. Highly recommend!
