Palmberg trocken Riesling

Lovely nose of hay, earth and minerals. Super Mosel and deep nose. Licking a stone. So mineral. Zero fruit. Maybe sweet lime zest and some slightly unripe peach but super mineral. Nice inner mouth perfume. Terrific.

2012. The Muscadet of Riesling. So light. Salt, lemon, and rocks. It literally dances across the palate. And by "literally" I mean "figuratively".

Stunning. Skeletal.

Two parts salt, one part slate.

Good balance between the acidity and rs. On this wine. Good depth of flavor as well.

Wow. I’ve been on a Riesling kick recently and this one did not disappoint. Recommended by the our local shop. I’ll be buying another bottle.
