Table thought it was a Pinot. Ruby garnet in color and earthy cold climate Pinot flavors. High bright notes and tight acids. Only a ghost of Syrah-Grenache lurking the background.

Apr 9th, 2016Agree with the review stating it was more akin to cool-climate Pinot Noir than a (92%) Syrah, and it seems closest to many earthy Oregon Pinots. [Actually, the earthy quality slowly dissipated and finally vanished after 3 hours, but sadly the Syrah characteristics didn't step up much.]. Not a bad wine, but not a really good one, either. And, I
if I wanted an Oregon Pinot, that's what I would buy.
