On day 2 opened nicely. Typical Yarra peppermint and eucalypt with citrus red fruit lift and earth spice - fine palate but a straight ahead style with citric acid finish - where's the texture?

Expecting more from this Cabernet Merlot blend from the highly credentialed Wantirna Estate. Bottom line too young but does seem to have the potential. Some lean Cabernet flavours finishing with a little astringency. Disappointing.
