This is good. The nose is gorgeous. I can smell it for days (I have been). There’s white pepper, potpourri medley (rose, lavender), red and blue fruit. The tannins are lush with present acidity that’s not overbearing. That palate has a good spice, less floral quality with good red fruit, pomegranate and red cherries. I’d say drink now, but definitely don’t wait more than a couple years (2022 ish).

Dec 21st, 2019Very un-Willamette-like. More like a central coast Pinot. Rich cola, with cocoa, and dark fruit jam. Devoid of acidity. Lots of heat and white pepper on the finish.
