Cuvée Anne Willamette Valley Chardonnay

The 14 is in a very nice place. Took a solid decant to flesh it out.

Some funk and barrel masking fruit.

Mineral and herbaceous nose into a beautiful body of lemon citrus, clove, and cinnamon. Beautiful!

The rumors are true. Drinks like Chassagne on a taut and precise frame. Focused acidity, crisp fruit, layers of minerals and lively acid. Stonefruit, pears, orchard blossoms, popcorn, flint, cream, and nuts. Would love to revisit with some age, huge potential.

I've known of this producer for a bit, but hadn't had a chance to have the wines. Very impressed. Probably my favorite domestic Chardonnay since the 2007 Evening Lands Summum.

Ultra tightly wound with minerals and lemon zest. Flinty minerality throughout.
