Slight hint of sweetness, but clean drinking with no after bites of any kind. No tannin flavors. An absolutely great red blend and my husband also loved it, too.

This wine was a gift from a former coworker with whom I spent many a happy hour with over the last decade. My point being....why would she gift me a sweeter red wine? I drink dry jammy fruit bombs. Well she is from New York and this wine is from New York. Positive intent...she wanted to share with me what she herself enjoys. Well....no. I hate for wine to go to waste. I shared this wine with a friend of a similar palate. She loves it and is drinking more than her usual so maybe I should give it a perfect score! DRINK WHAT YOU LIKE!

My brother in law picked up a bottle because his mothers name is Alta Bolduc, I tried it and was very surprised, a little sweet but the flavor or the grapes comes through very well. Goes very good with pasta.
