Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Deep red color with aromas of dark red fruit and spice. On the palate herbaceous flavors of blackberry and tomato leaf with pungent spice. Harsh tannins carry to the medium finish ending a bit harsh. I would pass on this one. Tasting Sample.

Surprisingly soft tannins

Restrained and balanced, with proper dry black fruit (not cranberry/pomegranate) with well integrated wood smoke and cocoa notes.

Dark purple/red in the glass, full body, lots of ripe plum and good medium tannin, some cocoa, very tasty cab

Bitter strong and acidic

Tasted like horse piss. But I love horse piss. Horse piss needs food and meat. And so does this. Because it is so strong. It’s good, but you just can’t sit back and sip this like you can a Pinot noir.

Berry, cherry, walnut

Wife's choice of wine for steak dinner night.

She liked it very much.
Cherry, blackberry, American oak, and a touch of cocoa. Light tannins and fairly easy drinking. Good value.

It doesn’t taste corked, but lacking velvety smoothness and body.
