Saline, fino, wild herbs, purple flowers and mushroom on the nose. Highly concentrated with a garnet rim. Moderate staining, high viscosity. Creme de cassis, black currants, with all forms of spearmint. Moderate plus acidity and moderate minus soft and well integrated tannins.

Cherry 🍒Chocolate 🍫. Absolutely silky and lush. Had this 17 years ago and I remember it being far more brawny. Has definitely mellowed with age. Still an amazing vintage.

Stayed in the Iberian Peninsula but veered off into Portugal to end the night. Paired gorgeously with the mousse.

A beautiful vintage port, with spicy character, beautiful intensity, and great freshness - it starts to reveal much - a top quality port that will delight winelovers 😃😋 Perfect for a nice weekend

Extremely sweet with a lot of spice, I prefer my Port a bit drier.

Outstanding. The best vintage port I’ve had to date. Orange, cinnamon, caramel, eucalyptus. Light on its feet and not viscous.

Hard to know what more to ask for in a Port. Aged to a velvety smoothness yet with a good amount of sweet fruit balancing sour cherry. 1994 vintage. March 3, 2018.
