Of all the 3rd ranked Cabernet blends from Margaret River I have always favoured this cuvée from Voyager. These wines are meant to be drunk on release up to 5 years normally. With age interesting developments. Aromas of stinging nettle, fresh sage and “Stinking Roger” (a weed in Australia). Also sooty fine Gravel notes. These dominate any fruit notes which were there on release - a limited cassis influence now. Herbaceous in the extreme but not unpleasant.
