Smooth velvet. Buttery nose with hint of pepper and French wet oak. The alcohol overpowers the fruit a bit on the nose even after an hour of decant. Toast has a smooth but sour cheese tone with light mushroom on the finish. The fruit is there but love the earth notes in this fine wine. Medium tannin and acidity, I will give this one another year or two and the alcohol may fall right into balance. Very impressed.

Sweet wine. Overwhelmed by the flavor of underripe grapes and strawberries. Very bright. Flavorful yet musty. As if these grapes laid directly on the wet ground during their growth.
