Smooth velvet. Buttery nose with hint of pepper and French wet oak. The alcohol overpowers the fruit a bit on the nose even after an hour of decant. Toast has a smooth but sour cheese tone with light mushroom on the finish. The fruit is there but love the earth notes in this fine wine. Medium tannin and acidity, I will give this one another year or two and the alcohol may fall right into balance. Very impressed. — 7 years ago

Possibly got a bad bottle. Major alcohol nose at first decant but settled after an hour or so. Fruit was unnoticed and lacked body. Out of balance. I will try again from another vendor soon. — 7 years ago

Mellow and soft taste upfront with berry and plum after-tones. Little to no oak. Medium alcohol. Tannins and acidity on the medium to medium plus side. I will buy again maybe a little younger vintage. — 7 years ago
