2003 Vollenweider Wolfer Goldrube Riesling Spätlese "Rieler". Rich lemon gold in the glass. Initially shy nose of Royal Anne cherry and honeysuckle. Echoed on the palate with honeycomb replacing the honeysuckle plus apple core and dark minerals. Raw honey finish is almost sinister. In a good place right now.
