Deep Ruby and a pronounced nose of cassis, blackberry and black cherry nearly obscured by a heavy hand with vanilla, toast , charred wood and other oak influences. For me the wine lacks balance with high alcohol and low acidity skewing the fruit. For those who like Napa fruit bombs this will be a hit but it is not a wine of elegance and balance.

Feb 8th, 2023This is very much an old school cabernet from Napa - big, high alcohol, ripe silky tannins and very fruit forward: black currant, blackberry, black cherry, vanilla, cedar and Stoney minerality. Full bodied but so ripe the acidity takes a backseat to the alcohol. Long finish - very good if this is your style, but for me, one glass is enough.
