Quince, orange, and honeysuckle dominate the nose of this bright straw gold white from Chile. The medium full palate echoes the nose adding a bit of earthy rind and concrete block mid palate to the medium finish. Medium plus acidity. This blend from Vistamar's coastal estate is a perfect match for coastal excursions (a.k.a., days at the beach) as well as spring or early fall meals (indoor or outdoor). Drink now.

Oct 11th, 2022Some serious value in this Chardonnay/Viognier blend (80/20). You’ve got classic lemon curd and lime notes, streaked through with a beautiful zip of minerality. The oak - something I loathe in Chardonnays - adds a soft touch of vanilla and baking spice, but brisk acidity keeps the whole thing moving along nicely. Extremely food friendly, here’s a white that can satisfy multiple palettes.
