First wine from Menorca drinking on Menorcan soil. Chardonnay blend with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malvasia, Moscatell and Macabeu. With the heat here - currently 28 degrees at 10:30am - I assume they need to be very diligent at picking at the right time, ensuring the grapes don’t become full and fat and overly sweet. Surprised this was relatively dry with a tart finish. Medium bodied, good acid, and a fragrant nose of orange peel and melon. A perfect pairing with the lobster stew.

Great wine blend from Menorca. A bit rose/orange wine on color. Refreshing and minerals on palette for 31C day. Pairs very well for sea-food lunch on the beach.
