Deep purple. Blackberry, cassis, light jam, pie crust, berry pie on the nose. Not terribly aromatic. Medium body, med tannin, med low acid, dry. Dark fruits and red fruits, dark chocolate and coffee bitter finish. Slight black pepper. From WSJ wine club. It’s just ok. Smells better than taste.

Deep ruby colour. Rich fruity aromas with minty buttery hints. Tastes of warm black currant without sweetness. Hints of peppercorns. Lively mouthfeel with juicy acids and soft but persistent tannins. Very nice.
