Unfiltered and very very cloudy skin-contact Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards around the village of El Tiemblo in Gredos. Aged in amphorae and acacia barrels. Complex nose with aromas apricot, herbal notes and resin (hints of paint). Fresh, mineral, saline, nice subtly bitter finish. Less funky than it appears. Quite a surprise

Very odd, like a dry cider with a bit of washed rind cheese and nice wet leaf finish. It desperately needs some acidity, although it's far from an unpleasant experience. I might not want a case of it but it's altogether fascinating.
