‘This is 2019... and you bought it in 2020.’

I mean. It’s not bad.

But, for the price, it’s actually good.

Glorified grape juice from the Douro region. Offensive to call it a Douro though.

Fruity red Portuguese blend w/ a tad 'old socks' Syrah edge on the nose (which I love) dry earthy subtle suitable palate. Worthy without food, with very good company, Pawel.

A great wine from the best terroirs of the Douro valley, on the north-east of Portugal. The usual tri blend of grapes that gives the wine a delicate, complex and persistent bouquet. Powerful pepper and ripe plums on the nose, yet deliciously elegant and balanced. Aldi €7.49 bargain.

Tasty Douro wine. Blackberry and currant. Slight hint of dirty laundry as the wine opens up. Low astringency, easy to drink!

Blackberry plum cinnamon on the nose. Medium acid and tannins, well balanced with a long finish. Excellent for the price.

At a great price...Portugal Duoros are a steal

Happy Valentine's Day! 💖 This wine is agreeably made with a lovely ripe, spicey nose. Plum on the palate with firm tannins. This went nicely with our cheese charcuterie board. ♡13% ABV♡ February 14, 2018 ♡
