Tried this again, still not good. Tried this at a tasting in a big box store. Dark red with aromas of jammy dark fruits and big jolt of spice. The palate shows dark berry flavors with pepper spice with harsh heavy oaky tannins. The wine is full bodied with a spicy oak finish. Not a fan, Pass. Tasting Sample.

Sour on the nose, blackcurrant and berries. Oaky, spicy, vanilla, and smoky.
Jammy berries then tart and rich tannins, full bodied with a finish that hugs the tongue. Somewhat refreshing and extremely affordable.
Paired with meatloaf, mac n cheese, and homemade baked beans.

Bought this because it was recommended by Total Wines and More. I feel I got screwed. They must have been trying to get rid of it. So far TW&M is below 50%. I am losing faith in their wine knowledge
