Part 1 of the final and main event for the Fall WNH. The most spectacular lineup of wines I’ve ever seen, and an overall wonderful ending to an amazing trip with fantastic people.
En mag. New producer to me. Big in structure, but the fruit isn’t too extracted or rich. Dark in profile...blackberry, cassis, plum, smoke and toasted vanilla oak. Thanks, @Mike R !

Deep ruby color. Aromas of blackberry, cassis and cocoa powder. Darn good wine, with juicy black fruit, graphite and mocha finish.

Medium ruby with aromas of blackberries, blueberries, black pepper, and a bit of dark chocolate. Nose is nuanced, but not very powerful. Nice flavors and structure. Medium to full-bodied, a well made wine.

Aug 21st, 2022Medium ruby with hints of black and blueberries with cassis. Definite hints of dust. Maybe a bit of anise and vanilla too. Good balance and structure in this wine. Medium to full bodied, the tannins are grippy but not distracting. Tannins will soften over time. Nice fruit throughout the taste. Nice finish.
