Another vintage. This one is a bit better than some others. Still has a bit too much fruit and oak in the mix. It’s a chain-sit-down restaurant wine.

This is a fruit-forward, fairly run of the mill New World red blend. Ripe and robust. Plenty of notes of caramels and cherry taffy. Tastes like oak was used a bit too much. It’s not Apothic Red level fruit/oak bombed, but it’s a bit much.

Reserva. Lighter red color than I’d expect from a Bordeaux blend. Smells faintly of berry sauces. Flavors are juicy and simple. New world style. Bit better after some air. Not very dynamic.

Dark. Smells like jam and nail salons. Flavors are vanilla and sweet oak driven. Hints of berries and some hard candy Christmas in the mix. This is akin to CA valley ‘Black’ blends. It’s fine, but far from ‘fine’ wine.
