Viñedos de Alcohuaz
Tococo de Alcohuaz Syrah

Although priced a bit high, this non-certified bio-grower started in -05 in Chile and makes several high quality wines. Dense color; dark small berries, dark chocolate, spicy, elegant nose; and full, round mouthfeel with fine tannins, high acids, and a delicious long finish; moderate oak. I am a N Rhône fan, but this style (less meaty and stringent - more round and supple) works too.
