2012 Vincent Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir. Delicious! Very pretty ripe fruit, good acidity. I always like Vincent's wines.

Vincent '15 Pinot Noir (Ribbon Ridge) - 13.1%

Appearance: Cloudy, magenta, medium light body

Nose: Spicy strawberry rhubarb

Taste: Soft initially with spicy jammy red fruits, rhubarb, strawberry, Rainier cherry, and some earthy loamy notes. Very mild tartness on the back end with good structure and mild tannins

Pop n' pour, drank over an hour or so and improved over time. First Vincent wine, and look forward to trying the Chardonnay, Blanc and Gamay - for the price this is a beauty that shows character of the Willamette finesse and soft, earthy subtlety. Pairing wasn't very well thought out, but we drank with a basil bechamel sauce over roasted cauliflower rice and ground veal and it worked surprisingly well.

Not as delicate as it looks or tastes at first; lovely length & perseverance of red fruits, with hints of Seville orange and tea roses weaving tendrils that frame the classical portrait of Pinot Noir. Pretty but wanting some rough & tumble play with deftly prepared spicy food, too!

Drinking another Vincent with my boy after a long day. I adore Vincent's minimal-interventionist vision and this Pinot is exquisite!
