2011 vintage. Black pepper, stemmy, herbaceous and red currant. Musty and earthy. Very pleasant nose. Although lean and angular, it's reasonably concentrated and the tannins are surprisingly high - stems again? Chalky tannins and high acidity. Medium plus finish. Very decent indeed. Didn't know Sancerre could make such a good Pinot!
