Broad, sappy and almost Nebbiolo-like on entry. On the palate, it becomes pure class...the way that Savigny in the hands of masters (Bize, Rollin, Cornu) always does. Taut, mannerly and entirely 2010ish. Years to go, but just fine right now.

Still a good amount of baby fat on this and clearly a modern SlB. Intense red currant fruit, allspice, damp earth, medium + acidity. We'll see you again in 5 years.

Opened up well after 30 min in a decanter. Could use more time but very drinkable now. Good nose and fruit with terroir. For 2010 vintage.
