Les Perrières Meursault 1er Cru Chardonnay

Slow to open, lovely and intense when it does.

FOB Bra... Crushed rocks. Very pretty

Honestly did not expect much from this vintage but WOW did this deliver the goods. Yes, somewhat lean from the growing conditions yet this wine packs tremendous essential oil aromas, citrus notes, chalk. Very pale color. Bright, crisp and clean; a delicious CH. This will go for many.... many years more.

Beautiful stuff. Big and powerful on the lengthy finish. Terrific nose.

Impressive up front (reduction in a good way) but not the acid I expected.
